The Eco-Tourism Club of Living Stone International School aims to explore various places for environmental and cultural education. For the school year 2011-2012, the club travelled to destinations in the Province of Pangasinan.  The Eco-Tourism members enjoyed a weekend of fun and environmental awareness from March 02 to 04 (Friday – Sunday). The exciting beach adventure included 23 students composed of sophomores, juniors, seniors and Citizen Advancement Training 4th Year students as guided and assisted accordingly by seven (7) teacher chaperones.

This ecological trip included the island hopping at the Hundred Islands in Alaminos. The LSIS students explored the Governor’s, Children’s and Quezon islands. They also had a river-cruise experience near Herring Way, San Marino Place, Bonouan Dagupan City. Capping the trip was the beach cleaning drive at Bonouan, Dagupan City.

Through this Pangasinan experience, LSIS continually instils the importance of taking care of the environment to the students. Mesmerized and awed by the beauty of nature, the students had a reflection about the responsibility of every individual in taking care of Mother Nature for everybody to enjoy.
